Welcome to God Squad!!

So what is God Squad??? It is a youth group for children in Pre-school (4 years old) through the 5^th grade. We meet on Sunday evenings from 5-7pm at the church.

God Squad gets involved in our community. How can children do this? We collect food for our local food pantry, Matthew 25:35 to help families in need. We hold a Toy Drive for Human Services to benefit local families in our community for Christmas. It was much more than just a toy drive, children brought in games, puzzles, coats, hats, new and gently used. We have a Clothes Swap during our Back 2 School Bash and donate the left over clothes to another local church for their Free Clothing Ministry.

God Squad knows how to have fun too! We have the opportunity to make new friends and get to know more about our old friends. We do know how to party… swimming party, Harvest party, pizza parties, and family movie night. We have a lot of fun racing in our annual God Squad 500.

It’s not about the games, it’s not about the parties. It’s about Jesus Christ and what He did for us. It’s about touching lives and guiding children to a growing relationship with Jesus. We do have fun in God Squad and we hope it shows other kids that learning about Jesus and following Jesus can be fun.
