Who We Are

Town and Country Christian Church is an independent Christian church founded as part of the Restoration Movement of churches, whose purpose and goal is to restore the practices and doctrines of the first century church as revealed in the book of Acts in the Bible.  We seek agreement in matters of faith, practice open- mindness  in matters of opinion, and strive for love and understanding in all things.  Our only source of truth and direction is God's Holy Word, the Bible.  Town and Country is internally governed by a board of elders, who are empowered by congregational vote to set policy and direction, and meet spiritual needs. 

What We Believe


We Believe...There is ONE GOD, who exists in three distinct  persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:18) 

We Believe... Salvation is by Grace, through FAITH, and that faith is evidenced by changed lives. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

We Believe... Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died in our place on the cross to cancel our debt of sin.  It is through Christ alone that we can have salvation and the hope of eternal life in heaven.  (Acts 4:12 )

We Believe...Communion is a vital part of the weekly gathering of God's people. (Acts 20:7, 1 Corrinthians 11).  Communion provides an opportunity for repentance, spiritual renewal, and reflection upon what the Lord has done for us.

We Believe... Baptism is a necessary part of reconcilling with God.  It is in Baptism that we identify with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, and it is through Baptism that we receive forgiveness of sins and the presence of God's Holy Spirit in our lives. (Acts 2:38, 1Peter 3:21).  We practice Baptism by total immersion, as defined in the New Testament.  (The Greek word Baptizo means, "to dip or plunge.)

We Believe... Heaven and Hell are REAL places, and will be the ultimate destinations of the saved and the unsaved. (Revelation 20:11-22).

We Believe... It is critical for every beliver to have a church home where he/she can receive nurturing and admonition, as well as find an area of service which will benefit the Body of Christ and make use of their talents and abilities. (Hebrews 10:23-25).

We Believe... Jesus Christ will one day return for those that have been obedient to his Word by repenting of their sins, being baptised, and living a faithful life.  At that time , He will take the faithful home to be with Him in heaven for all eternity.  (revelation 22:12-14)

We Believe... The primary mission of the Church is to proclaim the message of Christ to the lost, so that all will come to a knowledge of the truth and be saved from eternal separation from God. (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Peter 3:9)
